SECTOR SEARCH IN THE AURA RIVER
Two rescue divers carried out sector searches with surface tracking and recorded routes.

THE OBJECTIVE.
Track the divers during a sector search and record their routes. A training dummy was also tracked during one dive.

- Three UWIS buoys
- A UWIS unit on each diver
- UWIS Tracker for surface monitoring

HOW THE WORK UNFOLDED.
- The team positioned three buoys across the river and entered fixed buoy locations manually because of GPS interference.
- Two divers performed sector searches while the surface team followed their positions.
- Recorded routes were viewed after the dives.

- The divers' search routes were recorded for review.
- The training dummy was recovered.
